All the Concerts Fit to Print

The second time I saw BOC was at Sprecherfest. Sprecher Brewing had been holding their own festival every year since the late eighties. They had beer (of course), sellers tents and music. This year they had Blue Öyster Cult. There was a good sized crowd, but it was a fairly small venue. A big pavilion, with the stage along one side. I guess Bad Boy opened for them, but Cindy and I didn't get there early enough to see them.

The show was good and fun. They rocked. They played all the hits I wanted to hear, and quite a few songs I didn't know (but were still good). The bassist sounded great for "Cities on Flame" (I love that one). I wasn't impressed with the drummer. He tried to get the audience to make some noise, for his drum solo, and just kinda glowered at us, when we weren't loud enough.
